who we are

We are a forward-thinking organisation committed to partnering with you to unlock the full potential of your most valuable asset—people. Founded in 2024, we provide a diverse range of workplace solutions, including:

  • HR practices and policies tailored for First Nations employees
  • Advisory services, with a focus on cultural proficiency
  • Panel discussion facilitation with key stakeholders
  • Minority employment strategies, including RAPs, First Nations manager support, and CALD retention strategies
  • Unconscious bias training and measurement
  • Comprehensive research, both quantitative (regression, forecasting, analysis) and qualitative (interviews, Modern QFD)
  • Evaluation services, such as performance measurement
  • Insights from behavioural economics.

At the helm of our goal to support workplace excellence is Dr Craig Leon and Dr Siddharth Shirodkar.

  • Dr Craig Leon, a proud First Nations man from the Worimi Nation, brings decades of experience as a senior Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HR professional within top Australian Public Service (APS) agencies. His career has been dedicated to fostering workplace inclusion for First Nations employees, ensuring their unique strengths enrich the broader workforce. Craig's research methodology broke new ground in understanding the working relationships between First Nations employees and managers to identify priority workplace needs for change. As an expert in unconscious bias and cultural competence, Craig delivers practical, inclusive workplace solutions free of bias.

  • Dr Siddharth Shirodkar was born in India and migrated to Australia with his family in 1989. As an accomplished Australian economist, he has close to two decades of providing economic and strategic leadership, analysis, research, advice, and policy design across top APS agencies. Over the past decade, Siddharth has focused on First Nations economic development, applying his expertise as an economist to activate and empower First Nations households, entrepreneurs and community opportunities. Siddharth's groundbreaking research into unconscious bias against First Nations peoples revealed how endemic bias was in limiting pathways and opportunities for First Nations peoples. Coupling his research insights and extensive analytical and policy experience in delivering high-quality research and evaluation, Siddharth bridges social, economic, and cultural divides to ensure the right conditions support all people to live, thrive, and contribute back to society.

At Conscious Solutions, we unashamedly believe in fostering workplaces that embrace and celebrate diversity, inclusion, and innovation. These are the key enablers to ensure your teams can bring their best selves to work.  Let’s work together to create positive change!
